Pause for Poetry Panels

Our ‘Pause for Poetry’ panels can be spotted in cultural venues across the South Coast.

One of the many outcomes from the Sharing Shorelines project was the beautiful collection of poems created by participants. We were keen to share them with as many people as possible and as a result a large selection of the poetry has now been turned into ‘Pause for Poetry’ panels. These panels are being sent out across the south coast to venues, galleries and museums from Kent to Cornwall.

If you spot any of our ‘Pause for Poetry’ panels, take a picture and share it using #sharingshorelines or #stbarbemuseums. You will be in with a chance of winning a copy of the project’s Anthology of Poems and a complimentary family ticket to St Barbe Museum

We have been overwhelmed by the response from coastal venues who have agreed to display a ‘Pause for Poetry panel’. You can follow the progress of the project via our Twitter feed @StBarbeMuseum, alternatively If you are a venue and you would like to get involved please email learning@stbarbe-museum.org.uk
