Hidden – by Sid, looking at Sea and Rocks by Laura Knight
The waves that run in lines across the shore
To bring new gifts and strike away the old.
The rocks that watch the constant moving sea
From foaming fringe to distant line of gold.
The calm and tranquil sense of solitude
Envelopes eyes and ears with soft embrace,
And hides the ready peril out of sight
The sea, a mighty fist dressed up in lace.
